Go Green Development is committed to helping educate the general public on the latest developments in the Green Building industry. We have hosted several seminars and workshops over the past two years.

In the spring of 2008, we hosted a very informative solar and fire rebuild seminar for survivors of the 2007 (Fallbrook) Rice Canyon Fire. It focused on the amazing rebates and tax credits available for people rebuilding with solar after the 2007 San Diego wildfires.

In March of 2009, we hosted an impressive interactive Open House at the Fallbrook Pueblo (San Diego county's most energy efficient home). Over 15 of the contractors that have helped build the Fallbrook Pueblo were there to show the public the latest in energy efficient and green building practices. It was a testament to the interest in Green building to see over 425 people show up on a sunny Saturday.

In April of 2009, Ken Rexrode was invited to speak at (ECO Build) an event hosted by the California Center of Sustainable Energy (CCSE). He was able to share his experiences of building a LEED certified Platinum home to the people in attendance.

And most recently in December of 2009, we hosted a very informative workshop and tour for over 20 students from Laguna Hills High School. These students are enrolled in the only Green building program for students in So. California. Ken Rexrode gave them a VIP tour of the Pueblo along with hosting a workshop featuring some of the most influential leaders in the Green building community.

Coming in the Summer of 2010, will be an incredible event co-hosted by Go Green Development and the San Diego Padres. This event is going to be held at Petco Park before a home game in the main conference center and all attendees will be able to go to a baseball game later that night. It will focus on the future of energy efficiency and Green home building in Southern California. This will qualify for DRE credits so if you're a Realtor you will be sure to attend. We will have over a half dozen powerhouse speakers from the Green building community.
